SimpleReach accepts Track, and Page calls. If you reference it in the Integrations object, call it “SimpleReach”.

SimpleReach accepts device-mode data only from Analytics.js.

SimpleReach helps brands, agencies, and publishers increase the impact of their content marketing. The SimpleReach Destination is open-source. You can browse the code on GitHub.

Getting Started

Before you start, make sure SimpleReach supports the source type and connection mode you’ve chosen to implement. You can learn more about connection modes here.

  1. From your Segment UI’s Destinations page click on “Add Destination”.
  2. Search for “SimpleReach” in the Catalog, select it, and choose which of your sources to connect the destination to.
  3. In your Segment Settings UI, enter your SimpleReach PID which was given to you by the SimpleReach client services team.

Your changes appear in the Segment CDN in about 45 minutes, and then Analytics.js starts asynchronously loading the SimpleReach snippet on your page and sending data.

Data then appears in your SimpleReach Dashboard.

Settings

Segment lets you change these destination settings from the Segment app without having to touch any code.

Publisher ID

This is the SimpleReach-assigned Publisher ID (PID) that you should have received by email from SimpleReach. Your PID is a 24-character alphanumeric string that looks similar to: 4fc608fea782f333ea0000fb
